Today I’m reviewing the fifth & final mask from The body toàn thân Shop’s new Superfood face mask range – their British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask, which is designed to lớn plump, sooth, & re-hydrate. Is this a wintertime skin must-have? Let’s find out!

The toàn thân Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask is a gel-textured moisturizing mask designed for dry, thirsty skin that needs lớn be quenched & re-plumped with hydration. Formulated with rose essence, rosehip oil, & aloe vera, it supposedly helps replenish your skin with moisture, while also smoothing and softening the surface, and soothing và toning. After removing makeup và cleansing the skin, use a mask brush (or your fingers) to smooth an even layer of the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask onto the face, avoiding the eye & lip areas. Apply to lớn neck và décolletage if desired.
The recommend time khổng lồ leave the mask on is 5-10 minutes (however you can leave it on for longer if you prefer). Finally, rinse off with warm water. Recommended usage is 2 to 3 times a week for best results.

Open the jar, & the very first thing you’ll notice is the mask’s fresh rose scent (think a natural rose soap with a touch of citrus notes). It’s starts out somewhat strong, allowing you lớn enjoy the scent throughout the application process, then quickly fades after being applied.
The body Shop British Rose Mask’s texture is that of a thick, slightly sticky gel. It’s translucent with a rosy-brown tint, and even contains little bits of rose petals, all throughout. I personally prefer khổng lồ use my fingers over a brush when it comes to lớn applying it. However, no matter which method you choose, the formula is incredibly easy lớn apply, và spreads out effortlessly.
As the mask sits on the skin, it slowly starts to lớn absorb & sink in. What it eventually leaves behind is a thin, sticky layer that remains on the skin until you rinse it off. (Hence, it’s not one of those moisturizing masks that you can leave on all day/night, và use it in place of a moisturizer).

Although the directions say lớn keep it on for only 5-10 minutes, I much prefer khổng lồ go longer – 60 minutes is my average ‘treatment’ time (and the sweet spot I’ve found for getting the best results!). Once it comes time to remove it, it only takes about 3-4 quick rinses of water before everything’s off. Anything less – especially 5-10 minute treatments – gives me sub-par results, with the least amount of softening và hydrating/plumping effects.)
Because of the soothing aloe vera và moisture-restoring rose petals/essence, I find The body toàn thân Shop British Rose Mask works particularly well in two occasions: 1) as a follow-up after a more intensive chemical/grainy exfoliating mask or clarifying clay mask, và 2) as a refreshing, restorative treatment after a day out in the sun (especially when cooled in the fridge just prior!), as the rose helps lớn re-hydrate the skin và aloe vera calms redness.
